What We Do
At Susquehanna Valley Mobility Services, we know independence is key. That is why we are proud to offer a full range of rehab, mobility, and accessibility equipment designed to give our clients just that. So, whether you are in your home or on the road, SVMS has exactly what you need to reach a level of independence that you never thought possible!
Everything that we do is customized to meet your current and future needs. We work with infants in their first stroller, toddlers when they get their first power chair, teenagers who have outgrown their childhood chair, and of course, our adult, geriatric, and bariatric clients who have been in a chair long-term, or who may be new to mobility issues. Whatever your need, we have the experience and knowledge to meet it.
Not only do we provide mobility services, such as custom wheelchairs and power chairs, scooters, gait trainers, and specialty walkers, but we can help you to determine what other equipment is available to help you with your daily activities of living to keep you independent. These may include standers, specialty bath products, and accessibility products, including ramps, chair lifts, stair lifts, turning automotive seating (TAS), vertical platform lifts, and vehicle lifts.
Our dedicated Service Team will come to you to service your chair, providing you the convenience of in-home service and repairs. Occasionally we will need to bring your wheelchair or power chair to the shop for repairs. Our service policy includes the repair of all equipment that we provide to you. Our service team's expertise and knowledge keep your chair working properly and ensures your continued comfort and mobility.
Susquehanna Valley Mobility Service's manufacturer trained Rehab Specialists are highly skilled in assessing clients for mobility and accessibility needs, to ensure that you receive customized equipment fitted to your specific needs. They are committed to a team approach and welcome the voices of clinicians, caregivers, and family at your evaluation to make sure that all issues have been addressed and the chair provided will be just right for you now and into the future.
In addition to our Rehab Specialists, our Customer Service Team also works extensively with your physician, rehab hospital, therapists, insurance companies, and various funding agencies to help you get the necessary equipment and funding to keep you as independent as possible.
