A national non-profit, 501(c)(3), organization established in 1967 by disabled Vietnam veterans to serve the war injured. Camp S.T.A.R. (Sports, Teamwork, And Recreation) provides opportunities for children, from the ages 10 – 18, to become involved in a variety of sports and recreational activities. Children must be independent or require minimal supervision with transfers, dressing, toileting, feeding, and taking medications.
