Area Agencies on Aging
PAAAA’s Mission is a statement of its commitment to act as an advocate for the aging -- promoting the continued physical, social, and economic self-sufficiency of Pennsylvania’s seniors.  It pursues elders’ right to choice and dignity in daily living; and strives to furnish its Members with the essential informational / educational resources to deliver quality service toward this end. 

Center for Independent Living
Each Center for Independent Living (CIL) provides four core services including information and referral, advocacy, peer mentoring and independent living skills training.

Community Resources for Independence
CRI is a community based, nonprofit, nonresidential organization that offers services and assistance to enable people with disabilities to expand their options, pursue their goals and achieve and maintain self-sufficient and productive lives in our community.

Independent Living Institute
The Independent Living Institute is a policy development center specializing in consumer-driven policies for disabled peoples' self-determination, self-respect and dignity.

ITEM Coalition
The ITEM Coalition is devoted to raising awareness and building support for policies that will enhance access to assistive devices, technologies and related services for people with disabilities and chronic conditions.

NICHCY
NICHCY is the national information and referral center that provides information on disabilities and disability-related issues for families, educators, and other professionals. Our special focus is children and youth (birth to age 22).

Office of Vocational Rehabilitation
To assist Pennsylvanians with disabilities to secure and maintain employment and independence.

Pennsylvania Assistive Technology Foundation
The Pennsylvania Assistive Technology Foundation (PATF) is a non-profit organization that provides low-interest loans to people with disabilities and older adults so that they can buy the assistive technology devices and services they need.

United Disability Services
United Disabilities Services provides services to individuals with a wide range of physical disabilities.  Our services are provided generally without a fee and are designed to touch individual lives in a way that supports dignity and independence.  UDS is centrally located in Pennsylvania.
